People with wounds are cared for across health and care settings and services. To ensure that someone with a wound receives the care they need, it is necessary for all health and care practitioners to have wound care related knowledge and skill. To enable this, it is necessary to define the knowledge and skills needed by the multi-professional workforce at all levels.
The multi-professional Wound Care Workforce Framework created by the NWCSP and Skills for Health is now live following some minor updates and the NWCSP is hosting a webinar to explain the changes.
