Vascular Society: Venous Speciality Interest Group virtual event (15th March 2-4pm)

Feb 21, 2022 | Other

Following the recent James Lind Alliance Priority Setting exercise to identify the top research priorities, the Vascular Society are hosting a research event to discuss the support and development of current and future venous research projects. The society is looking to support new and existing researchers to develop their own projects based upon addressing these research priorities.

The event will take place via Zoom on 15th March 2022 (14:00-16:00) and is open to the public, all healthcare professionals, students and trainees.

Please come along if:

  • You have lived experience of venous disease and want to help shape and perform future research.
  • You are a healthcare professional with an interest in venous research.
  • You have a little experience of research but are keen to find out more and get involved.

If you have an idea for a research project in development, please send a brief 200 word abstract and present a summary of your proposed research on the day, along with any support you are looking for from the SIG.

Submit your abstract by completing the interest form or contacting Judith.long3@nhs.net by 5pm 26th February 2022.
